Life and what it has taught me?
life experience
Before coming to IIUM and pursuing my degree in Bachelor of Information Technology, I have a life as a diploma student in Ungku Omar Polytecnic in Ipoh, Perak for 3 years, taking the Diploma in Information Security. The experience there was life knocking and not something that I would ever trade even if I have the ability to control time. Being there for the past 3 years was fun, tiring and challenging. The studies were way different than what I am currently doing in degree. Even though my Polytechnic was known to practice a lot of hands-on activities, it also requires a lot of memorizing abilities and for me, the practical studies was far more challenging than memorizing. In degree life, most of my studies now requires a lot of practical practices and I have to say that I am quite struggling with my studies. For every semester I have always targeted the least is 3.5 CGPA and GPA above to maintain my dean's list and with that comes a lot of sweat and energy poured out into making it a reality. One day, inshaaAllah, I wish that I am able to graduate and hold my degree with full satisfaction and success after I made it out from IIUM.
After diploma, I applied for Industrial Training at UTM International in Skudai, Johor Bahru, Johor. It was the best time of my life except my adolescence time. I managed to learn as much as I could about working life and especially working under an office environment as studying in IT Sector means that my job scope would not be far away than cramped up in an office. In UTM International, I have grabbed so many knowledge about making connections and influence with other universities and potential partners as my job scope was to maintain UTM relationship and seeking out new partner possibilities with that University. I return calls, make calls, engage in email with rectors and deans from worldwide universities around the world. I also set up conference and meetings for my superiors and upper managements. It was once a lifetime experience as I made a lot of International relations with the International students and universities.
The life currently in IIUM has been nothing but amazing, though of course there are moments of ups and downs throughtout my 3 years of studying degree here but I don't regret any moments. IIUM has given me the chance to properly understood myself and finally acknowledging my problems. I have gotten the help that I need to grow mentally stable and took life as optimists always do, to always practice acceptance, moving on and not to overreact under bad circumstances. I have learned to be more matured and I have been exposing my awkward self to meet and interact with more people internationally and locally and joining more club activities than I planned. I am proud to say that I am happy, content, grateful and accepting life as it is, even in current life-threatening pandemic across the whole globe. May Allah ease our problems and helped us to recover from this and all of the internal and unspoken problems that we all faced.

All of my contibutions to the community has been a great exposure and a good way to spend my leisure time to seek more knowledge and do importances in Islam. Saying this, not to brag or behaving as a goody two shoes but to remind myself to always pursue and not giving up on doing things that I enjoy doing for the sake of myself and doing good for my faith and people. Besides that, I have learned humility, cooperation, emphatic, being flexible yet rigid and understanding while working with other people and helping other people for their welfares.
Throughtout my 23 years of living experience, I have come to realize that not everyone is friendly or having good intentions towards you so exposures to more people have broaden my sense to distinguish people who are good for me and people who uses me. This observations are not used to discriminate or keeping myself away from them but as a sign to be careful with people and still have good intentions to help everyone as much as I can for Allah's sake and to bring happiness to everyone.
Besides that, I find it extremely helpful to bring yourself instead of waiting for miracles to happen. Remember that Allah s.w.t will help all of his beings but only if we strive for it. Miracles don't just happen with a strong faith, Allah told us to pursue, to go and seek knowledge from everything and everyone no matter the age, difficulties etc. When there is will, there is way. In surah asy-syarh, 5th ayah, with great ease , there will be difficulty. This word has so much power, Allah Himself says to us that, if we want to achieve a greater ease or be at peace, we must go through difficulty. Only with difficulty where a great peace comes.
